Anu,
My daughter was in pain for about 2 weeks but it got better everyday. She needed to have it because I could see when she walked she couldn't move her legs easily, she still has a slightly different walk than people without CP but she can ambulate on her own, runs and hasnt used her special stroller in a long time. good luck I will pray for your daughters speedy recovery
Dawn

Thanks Dawn for your story. It's good to know. We won't even know until
Friday if she is a candidate for surgery, but the referring doctor seemed to
think so. How long was your daughter in pain?
