Aspirin is a salicylate but does not contain Magnesium. That is just that particular form of Magnesium. You might see Magnesium carbonate, Magnesium sulphate or Magnesium oxide.

Carla, seems as if magnesium is an ingredient in aspirin. I was researching
magnesium last night, and found "magnesium salcilyate"  do you know if this
