Also, mitochondrial disorders will mimic cp.  Brain stem is the brain stem,
or were you thinking of the medulla oblongata.

well, with bilirubin, it's more than just lack of oxygen.  the bile gets
into
the bloodstream, and gets into the brain stem, clogging it up. theres a
medical word for brain stem, that i forget...
