not exactly what i meant, deri, i was reading a few
years ago, some phd was explaining why he did not
necessarily believe in global warming. he said the
measuring stations were in many cities accross the
countries that were very small. those places that were
official measuring stations years ago are still
offical measuring places today. the problem he had was
that the cities were small and now many are big
cities. when they were small towns and crossroads they
measured lower temps than now that they are big
cities. in short his bottom line is that cement gets
hotter in the sun than does grass and dirt. he said it
is only common sense to expect the big cities to
measure hotter than when they were small. nobody
thakes this into account.
