Yeah I agree; we had a Golden Retriever who was 16 when we had him put to sleep.  It was a very, very sad day. I loved that dog.

I hope you don't have to keep that cast on too long, Kyle.

Mag,

The dog was on an oil tanker that capsized and the crew had to abandon ship.
The dog was the captain's personal dog, and the Coast Guard found it alive
and is attempting to rescue the dog.  Perhaps it's costing $50,000 and the
captain can't pay the money, and the Humane Society is paying for him.  It's
an awful lot of money, but my bleeding heart wouldn't want that dog to
starve to death by himself on the abandoned ship.
