well put. It is hard to make these decissions- and no young child "wants"
surgery! Wev all are afraid of medical stuff! But as a parent we have to
look at the total picture and do the best we can-- my 11 year old had
cataract surgery and tendon releases done this summer- 3 weeks apart-- I
asked her now if she was sorry or glad she had them done (3 weeks post op0
she said mommy I can see into your eye now..so I'm glad I had my eye done
even though I didn't like that place...my legs feel better- and I can roll
in my sleep better ( even in knee splints ) so I'm glad...plus I'm taller
now that I had my legs done. And besides as a reward she is getting to go
witth me to the NORD conference in 2 weeks- so she is pleased! Joy
