Carla,
May I come to your house?!?!?!?

Please!!!?? I am to the point where I would like to not recognize myself.

And speaking of falls and inactivity, I recently had a bone density screening and will go in for the actual DEXA Scan on 12/14.

The results of the screening were not good.

Bobby, If the screening was acurate, I really do have the bones of an 80 year old.

On the plus side, I found this out without actually breaking a bone first.

I would encourage all the CP adults on this list to get a DEXA Scan. Even the guys.

If your doctor is hesitant to do one because you are "too young" point out that folks with disabilities are at greater risk of BOTH osteoporosis and falls.

Bonnie

P.S. Carla, my Service dog Claude (black standaard poodle) wants to meet Mr. Jake....
