Good grief, I mean, golly, my Mom had trouble accepting the CP, And it was
clear that she didn't want me living at home any more then I wanted to live
at home beyond high school, but it was not that she thought I could be normal
"if only I would try."  So she set about making me independent, so I would
not end up in an institution, and for that I'm grateful. But it sounds like
you gals had a very hard time with your families.
