i am soory, i am my sons main role model. letting athletes be his role
model would be an act of my indifference and laziness as a parent. my child
would not have heard this had the news media and some black leaders here in
atlanta (with nothing better to do and no recent tv exposure) not made such
an issue of publicizingg it. i'll stick by my first statement. little johnny
would not be saying it if the big jessie and big al had just let it die
quietly and little johnny should know from his parent role model that this
would meet with displine. if it were up to you the first admendment of the
document that grants us our protection would be down the shoot. sorry elaine
i don't buy any of your arguments.

Bobby and Kyle, I have to disagree with both of you for a number of reasons.
As pwd's , you know how discrimination in any form is harmful. Think of the
responses from this list if Rocker say something about pwd's.

Also, this man is in a position of a "role model" because of his baseball
status. We don't need our children hearing this type of talk and finding
out
it goes unpunished! What would stop little Johnny in the school yard from
repeating the same, and getting punished for it? Is that fair?

If it was up to me, I would have fired his butt on the spot. Discrimination
in any form is wrong and should not go unpunished!
