Joanne, a truly good practitioner would not behave like that. And just for
the record, that's one reason I like Feldenkrais, because all we do is relax
on the table or the floor, there is no struggle, no boring repetitions of
exercises, no blame, and for my money, the results come much faster with
alternatives like Feldenkrais or chiropractics than regular PT.  I'm talking
months, instead of Years. And yes, I understand fully about letting Alex be a
kid...
