my "normal" way of climbing stairs
has sometimes been to sit down on them and scoot my butt up them, if there's
no
bannister or railing...........  That's MY normal!!

I am just the opposite..LOL. If there's no railing , UP stairs is no problem
..it's the DOWN that gets my butt to scooting.
