well they may be feeling disinfranchised, but, by not
voting, they are making those of us that do vote more
powerful. in an election where say only 20 percent of
the population votes, it makes that 20 percent's votes
count 5 times as much as if 100 percent voted.
   low turnout magnifies a motivated block of voters
ability to turn an election.
  it is frustrating that these people don't see that.
since i was old enough to vote, i have missed only one
election. i was moving from huntsville al;abama to the
atlanta AREA. I WAS AWAY FROM HUNTSVILLE, BUT not in
atlanta long enough to be registerd to vote in time to
get that election. if it had been a presidential year,
i'd probably tried to time it differently.
