I thought ataxia was referring to lack of balance - that's what I have
along with the spasticity.

And speaking of name changes - when CP was first identified it was
referred to as `Little's Palsy' after the guy who `discovered' it.
The encyclopedias in my high school library were old enough to use
that as an alternative term.
