Hi Karen,
Thanks so much for your birthday greetings. Yesterday wasn't a typical
birthday. I took the dog to the groomer. Gosh, his "do's" cost more than mine. I
had a lovely lunch with a girlfriend while in the city, which was excellent.
Lots of water!
I didn't have a cake, but I might whip up one today or tomorrow. May is a
great month for birthdays in my family; my mother, a brother, a nephew and niece
fall within the same month. I have only known my niece for several months; she's
the daughter of my late brother and was put up for adoption at birth. The
striking similarities between us are truly amazing. She and I have the same size
feet, which was a real treat because up to learning that, only Mom and I had
size 9 footies :)
My husband is a bit disappointed because the gift he had intended for me
hasn't arrived. I do know, however, that's it's not a Westie puppy!
Thanks again for your good wishes for my "almost over the hill" birthday.
Kind regads,
Carla
