By the time I pulled that, they knew me and they knew I just might do it.
I'm just glad I didn't have to.  I still don't know when the chair is coming
though.

This isn't an isolated incident with doctors.  I found that out when I
started doing injury compensation at work.  Time and time again we had to
wait for documentation about employee injuries from doctors before we could
assign the employee to a limited duty position.  I had to call a number of
doctor's offices repeatedly trying to get documentation.  I know they have
bureaucratic headaches they never had in the past, but there must be a better
way.

I suspect that I'm not the only person on this list who has had to wait for
something they needed from a doctor's office.
