Hi,
Regarding the book problem: 1) if you can afford it buy an
extra set for her to keep at home and talk to her teachers 
about keeping the other books in the classrooms or 2) talk to 
the department that helps students with special needs maybe 
they can let you have the extra books FREE due to her medical
condition?  I'm not sure, just a thought.
