Deborah,

The medication in your inhaler could possibly be causing the tachycardia
(fast heart rate)--especially if the meds are epinephrine-based.

I get that feeling sometimes, the feeling like my ribs are squashing my
lungs, especially when I breath out. When this happens I assume I am having
an asthma attack ( I got asthma from bronchiolar pneumonia at age 17) and I
use a bronchiolar inhaler and it stops the spasms or what ever you want to
call them. but I am left with feeling jittery. I think I also have heart
arthimas when under anxiety or severe stress. My resting heart beat is 95
and jumps to about 120 or more during these episodes, but my blood pressure
is only about 110/60. Iam only 34 so I know it has nothing to do with
menopause.
Deborah mom of 4-
