Kendall,

When I was teaching 5th grade, we had an evacuation plan that
entailed us all walking down a steep grassy hill to the church next
to the school, if there ever was a threat that required evacuation of
school property. I was told that I could drive to the church and
have another teacher supervise my kids...To that I replied, "yeah
like I am going to leave my kids in a disaster...no way" to which
one of my colleagues said, "We'll just roll ya down the hill or carry
you piggyback"...could you just imagine?? Could be comic relief in a
stressful situation I guess...but luckily never had to be done!
