I did once have to defend myself against a rapist. I had shut the door to
write a guy a note asking him please leave, but it wasn't locked, and (I thought
the screen door was locked) the guy came in and proceeded to try pulling me
from my chair at my typing table. I grabbed hold of the metal bars under it and
held on and proceeded to scream my head off. He was drunk, and had left the
door open, so he got scared and took off after a few minutes. If it had come to
killing him, I would have tried knocking him unconscious first. Even Gandhi
said a woman had the right to defend herself against a rapist. I don't try to
save ants if they're in my house. I think of how I'd save myself these days,
and have come to the conclusion I'd spin in my powerchair and with my legs I'd
give them a kick in the balls.

Mag voting no on the recall, no on prop 54, no on 53, yes on bustamonte.
