Ok, got your attention. As we plan Dana's graduation party, a friend is
helping by designing the invitiation. If any of you live near us, well, come
join in the celebration. MEanwhile, I thought you might want to see photos
of Dana through the years, including one from last year when he bleached his
hair. In one photo, you'll see him holding a baby; that is his baby brother
Jake, now 11. I am not sure how long we'll keep this up on the website.

To those of you with YOUNG kids, take it from those of us with older
kids....the years fly by. It was just a short 18 years ago that we were
holding that four pound tenacious bundle in our arms. NOw he's still
gorgeous and he's GRADUATING from high school. Where did the time go?

I wish we could have included ones of Dana in his walkabout walker, or in his
other positioning devices over the years. But you can get the general idea
of who he is from looking at his smiles in all the photos.

Born three months early in India, and having arrived home with us at age 2
months and weighing just four pounds, he has not grown a whole lot in
size...but his zest for life and his smile continue to grow.

We're inviting all those folks from along the way, the naysayers too, those
who said he might be retarded, those who said he would never talk, those who
said we shouldn't keep him, those who said he "isn't a pizza that you can
just throw all these toppings on" when we were trying all sorts of methods
for teaching Dana to talk and learning sign language. (he's hearing impaired
as well.) So, here he is, graduating, member of National Honor Society, and
going to college....

Proud mama? you bet
