True, but then we don't get all the floods, snowstorms and earthquakes they
get in other parts of the country.  Although we do get any of them once in a
while, just not very often.  I remember a small earthquake in High Point, NC
back when I was in high school, but that was a little itty-bitty one, nothing
to get excited about, not like the ones we had when I was a kid in So. Calif.

Did you know we have a fault running up the Carolinas up into Virginia?  Yep,
it's called "The Charleston Fault," but it's nowhere near as active as the San
Andreas Fault out West.
