Don't you just hate it when people ask you that question?

"Why, no! My hypothalmus isn't completely shut down yet, I would like it to
be at least ten degrees warmer."

I found the following on the 'net, with a bunch of other sites corroborating
the data:

Q: What is the coldest and hotest temperatures on earth?

A: According to the World Weather Center in Perth, Australia, the highest
recorded temperature on Earth was in Al'Aziziyah, Libya, on September 13,
1922 when the temperature reached 135.9 degrees F. The lowest recorded
temperature was at the Vostock II scientific station in Antarctica on July
21, 1983 when the temperature reached -128.6 degrees F.

So, while I'm sure it was damn hot, he probably exaggerated a bit. Come to
think of it, though, being an oilman he's probably Texan, and since Texans
exaggerate everything, he was just telling "Texas Truth". LOL!

Bobby, I may be wrong, but I don't think the recorded temp. anywhere on
earth has ever been anywhere near that high. It would certainly be
something interesting to check out!

I was talking with a friend who was an oil man. He spent some time in Iraq
and said the temp got to 145!
