There, the first thing that goes when you're a student is good
nutrition, MacDonalds, Pizza Hut, Elmer's Diner. A restaurant is
not a REAL restaurant unless the menu is in a foreign language
you don't understand, and you select the meal on price alone
(usually the cheapest!!).

When I was at school doing Maths they provided me with an
amanuensis during maths exams, since it was virtually impossible
to use an electric typewriter for maths. One quality they
insisted for these "scribes" was that they must be completely
ignorant of the subject of the exam - so no help there!!

I remember it took about 10 minutes to get her to do a passable
differentiation symbol (the exam was calculus). She couldn't seem
to grasp that when I said it was like a big "f" slanted forwards
I didn't mean an italicised capital "F".
