Our home boy, Joey Cheek, won the gold for the men's 500-meter speed  
skating event!  He's from Greensboro, NC and still has the 1000-meter  
race to go.  What impressed me the most, is that he's going to donate  
his winnings to help fight famine in Africa.   A truly remarkable  
young man!
