apparently his c1 c2 have shifted causing spinal cord  compression.  we are 
told he is at risk for paralysis or worse if he were  to have a sudden 
jerky neck movement.  they want to stabilize  it.

Anyone have  experience w c1 c2 fusion? We have been advised to do this
immediately. It  was found by accident during ct for infection in face. Thx.
