You're right because we have had a handicapped parking tag for at least 20
years, and I don't remember ever having to go to the doctor to renew it.

Thanks,
Anthony

You know, Anthony, I wonder the same thing every time I have to go to my
doctor to get my handicapped tag renewed for my car. Seems to me once one
is diagnosed as a CP, he or she could have a tag forever without the hassle
of renewal, but I suppose it's easier to put the burden on us, the drivers
and doctors, rather than on the state and DMV.

however,
I don't really understand the reasoning, if we have Cerebral Palsy or some
other non-curable disability that is medically known to last forever, why
do
we have to continue running to the doctor to get ADA certified every 4
years, to me it's a waste of the doctor's time just for something that's
already known. I know that it has to be this way in cases like car
accidents or whatever and a person only needs help for a short time, but
we
should have different levels of certifications.

  Thanks,

Actually, it does but I've never been ADA certified for it. If this goes
on much longer though I'm going to become certified beleive me. In fact, I
have a ton of the applications at work that I hand out for our clients. I
guess now I may have to certify myself...
