no one eats the tusk or the rhineo horn. the bison are making a great
comback, being raised becouse of the price of buffelo steak (which is my
point) maybe not in the past, but nowadays, if there is a demand some one
will raise them. where is whale oil still used? i know the japanese still do
some whaling, but, after my visit to the whaling meuseam in maui, i know
there is not a need for whale oil here.

And rhinos and elephants are hunted for their tusks, whales for the
oils,
etc. The dodo bird went extinct because it was hunted down for food,
same
for the woolly mammoths and bison in North America.

> You mean animals that are raised for food? Because in tigers are
"eaten",
elephants are "eaten", passenger pigeons were "eaten", many fish that
used
to be "eaten" are endangered because they were pushed out by ohter fish
that
were stocked, salmon runs, cod runs are all crashing, etc
