Thanks for the additional info!  As a Wyoming native, I know all that stuff
is there but forget to mention it.  The altitude issue is definitely
something to keep in mind; my dad has heart disease, and so can no longer go
above about 7500 feet elevation for more than an hour or two without
oxygen.  We had measurable snow in Laramie (430 miles southeast of the park,
and about the same as the average elevation) a week and a half ago, and I've
seen it every month of the year.
