I agree.  I personally don't want 24 hour care, then again I don't want to
live by myself either.  I will be too lone some, even when I come home from
school or work.  I can transfer myself in and out of bed by myself.

People assume if you are in a wheelchair that you are totally helpless.  Of
course they are fools that don't know any better.

Someone asked what happen if there was a fire.  Most people that have CP
have some movement and they will find away to get out in an emergency.

One may say that, it is better to live in a group home and maybe for some
of us that is better, but in my and many others, we want to be independent
as possible.  If we can tackle the daily crap, we will find away and adjust
at living on our own.
