I don't know if my parents know what I have, and they're neither trained in
this area, so I'm not expecting them to diagnose me. My brother's fiancé's
parents asked the similar thing after I left last evening, they were really
concerned about me my mother tells me. I feel like writing them and
explaining what happened but I don't know myself, I had a very positive
evening on phones, I went to my parent's for supper after work, and didn't
last 10 minutes before exploding, and than asked to be taken home. This
morning my mother reminded me of numerous times I have had explosions, and I
can remember at least 85% but the other 15% are news to me, but I know my
past and know my parents wouldn't lie about something like this.

I'm going to go to a therapist of my choice, but it's embarrassing because
my family is well respected around the community, and we know several
therapists.

It's just weird because in front of PRC people and customers, I haven't had
any problems, and the majority of my work is very challenging, but I somehow
pull it off in no time. Just today I took care of a few major problems
within seconds, would somebody with a mental illness be able to perform like
that and research whatever problems, I believe not.

Thanks,
Anthony

It's hard to tell Anthony without more information. Right after Case
wrote his note about his wonderful family his father had him in tears
and Case accused his dad of name calling, something Case never does.
Dad called him a sniveler. He rarely snivels and I think they expect
too much out of him, especially at 7.
I have told my son he expects better behavior out of his kids than he
does of himself.
So back to your parents. Can you figure out what triggers your
explosion? Are they not hearing something you say repeatedly? Do they
think you are bipolar or something like that? What mental problem is
being suggested? Just trying to get more info here?
This may not be your problem at all. It could be something amiss in
the family system that gets repeatedly played out. This happens even
when people have the best of intentions towards one another.
