i have been messing around with mike for a few post.

do politicians lie? duh? there is an old joke; "how do you know a politician is lying? , his mouth is moving."

you see politicians promising lots of things and we know there is not enough money to deliver. we see them say things about something the other one said and we say, "that is a little out of context."

we see them say something that after you look behind the statement is just a silly innuendo.

then sometimes we hear something that is just a big whopping lie.

my opinion is that politicians lie quite a bit.

now the unsavory fact. in the states where the polls show obama leading by 1-3 points in the polls, do not be surprised if he loses the state. there is something called the Bradley effect. basically it is the fact that some people will not tell pollers that they will not vote for a black person but when they vote they do let their prejudice take control. not the way it should be, but it is there. there are not as many bigots as there once was but there are still some bigots out there.
