Some of you probably have noticed that I've tended to be a bit
snappish and short-tempered lately and I apologise for it. It's been
awfully stressful at work and I am feeling the full effects. I work
for a subgroup of the HR department of a large company that is going
through major, and I mean MAJOR reorganisation. What with all the
location staff and support staff, we have a total of 70 employees in HR.

Well today they announced a reorganisation of HR - 28 people are
being laid off, a reduction of 40%! I'm safe for the moment, but I
do admit there are times when I wish I could chuck it all but as Mag
has mentioned, I can't afford to do without my medical benefits. :(
