  Just received word that the Senate Judiciary Committee is proceeding
  with a fast-track hearing on the Sutton nomination.  The hearing will
be
  in Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 226 this Wednesday, May 23 at
  10 AM.

  We need you to call now and ask Senators on the committee to oppose
  this nomination.  Please forward this alert to other concerned
Americans
  who want to protect the ADA.  Remind them that Sutton has questioned
  the constitutionality of the ADA, successfully represented Alabama in
  the Supreme Court Garrett case which weakened ADA enforcement, has
  stated that the ADA "was not needed", and has been instrumental in
  rolling back civil rights protections related to age and racial
