Joyce,
Congratulations on the new job.
Sometimes I get tense when I need to cross a street on foot using my walker,
but I don't get tense crossing the same street in my electric wheel chair.
When I use my walker I am slower and more vulnerable to cars. The tension
is something to allow yourself to go through without letting it limit your
life.
I hope this helps.
Mariana
