Anthony,

I don't know if you receive Medicaid Waiver services, but most states have
different medicaid waiver programs for people with disabilities and often
for the elderly as well. These waivers usually cover services that go
beyond what typical Medicaid will cover. Wyoming's Waiver covers some home
modifications. A MedicalAlert system doesn't seem like it'd be too much of
a stretch, as waivers are designed to keep people who might otherwise need
to be institutionalized in the community. Unfortunately most states also
have waiting lists for Waiver services, and the services offered vary from
state to state, as Medicaid is a joint ste/federal program. In North
Dakota, my professional counterpart is Cathy Haarstad at Minot State
University, and I'm sure she could steer you in the right direction for more
info specific to ND. Cathy's email is: [log in to unmask]

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
