A chain letter indeed, but about a serious (and true) problem.

Over 250 people in Belgium and France got seriously ill after
drinking Coca Cola. The product was taken out of the shops in
most of W-Europe and the factory was closed down by the Belgian
government.

Investigations did not reveal the cause of the illness (some people
were hospitalized for over two weeks). I read in a dutch newspaper
that they did found rat-poisoning on the outside of some cans that
came from a storage facility.
