PRESS RELEASE
People for Paulsen-Independent Party Campaign Fundraiser
August 20, 2000

For immediate release:

People for Paulsen and your state Independent Party candidates are happy
to announce a fundraiser at Wells Fargo Lanes, 365 Concord St. N., South
St. Paul from 3-10 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th.

Darrell Paulsen, candidate for South St. Paul City Council, will be in
attendance, along with other Independent Party candidates and officials.
There will be an Italian Buffet featured at $25.00 per plate, plus
bowling for the special price of $10.00 for 2 games including shoes.  We
are offering a dinner/bowling package for $30.00 ( or $35.00 at door )
if you order tickets ahead of time.

The fundraiser will feature a silent auction and lots of door prizes, in
addition to excellent entertainment by "Heavy Love" and a possible
appearance by the "Smokin' J's."

There are a limited number of tickets, so order early.  Call campaign
headquarters at (651) 455-3202 to make dinner reservations.
