They actually stuck well, considering I used it at the belt-line on my back.

Years ago, when I was able to hunt, I used those chem heaters in my
socks--worked great, but only for a couple hours. Now, the "Therma-pedic"
brand I use will last overnight and then some. They are seven bucks for
three pads, but what else to do?

Weather's warming up a bit here. Hope it's doing the same in NC.

Oy vey, I've used those things. Did they stick on or did they fall off?

I had one on my arthritic hip when I fell and broke my leg, and when the
nurse prepped me for surgery (to set the leg under anethesia), I had to
explain to her what it was for! I think she thought it was a nicotine
patch.

chemical heating pads. Only way I could walk.

It's quite true in my case; my right leg gets really bad when it's cold.
Last week was the worse, but then, it was VERY cold last week! I was very
grateful for the blanket and chenille comforter I'd got for
Christmas/Hanukah.

You'll find several of us on the list (self included) who
have fairly severe back pain and spasms--more so when it is cold.
