Kathy Jo,

There is backup software available commercially, but you'll probably
need a lot of disks or a CD burner or a tape drive. There are backup
facilities built into the Windows operating system, but they are a
little more difficult to use. Do you have either a tape drive or a CD
burner for your system? Also, which version of Windows do you have (98,
ME, 2000, NT, or XP)?

This website provides an evaluation version of one type of backup
software for Windows, but there are a lot of others out there.

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.
