<< Bobby, did your S-C have power return. I got my first electric typewriter
for my
birthday, back in the 60's. The sales rep brought two machines for me to
consider. Of course, I chose the one with the power return. Easier to reach
the
little right finger over a bit, than to lift my dominant left hand off the
keyboard and interrupt the creative flow :)

Cheers!

No, Carla mine had a manual return. We bought a newer one later in my
doctoral work in '65 with a power return. My wife was the typing champion in
Texas in high school. Typed 110 words per minute on a manual!! She demanded a
power return which would not slow her down. She can do up to 180 wpm on a
word processor!
