Dear All,

Ashadeep is an internet based, non-commercial information centre. Ashadeep
in Sanskrit (ancient Indian language) means lamp of hope. The objective of
Ashadeep is to build a repository of resources engaged in rehabilitation of
disabled & deprived children. So, Ashadeep aims to provide data &
information on the the institutions, the people/professionals engaged in,
and the literature available on
rehabiliation of such children.

Currently, we are focussing on Cerebral Palsy. Please have a look at
our website:

Ashadeep has carried out its monthly update of the web site. We are thankful
to Christine McRae who is part of this mailing list for letting her mail
"Positive Aspects of Caring" publish on our web site in the Cerebral Palsy >
Experiences section.

We are also thankful to Christina Remien, Jane E. MacArthur for becoming
friends of Ashadeep.

Please share your experiences with us. They could be really useful to our
web surfers.

Please go through our Cerebral Palsy > Books/Literature section. We intend
to publish book-reviews of the books listed on our web site. Please let us
know if any of you are interested in writing them.

Thanx & Regards,

Vinayak
