I'm still alive and kicking.

Some good news. I am now a Doctoral Candidate, meaning that my
research proposal has been accepted by my committe and by the
college-level review committee. It still needs to get through
one more level of review (IRB) but that should not be a
problem except thhat I actually have to register for a
one-credit class this summer to get them to review it and my
finances are not cooperating.

In any case, I will hopefully be starting to collect data
early in Agust and defend next April at some point.
