As a person who's worked with marketing research for several years, I can tell
you voluntary survey participation never approaches 100 percent. When one
conducts a mail survey, 20 percent particpation is considered excellent. I
would think the same would be true of a web survey. Also I don't think all
300 list participants have web access or the broadband capacity to attempt
one.

Still, I must admit 10 out of 300 is pathetic. I certainly hope more
particpate in Bobby's survey!

I have not yet started on the new web as I haven't had the time yet. However
I hope to get started this weekend. Please be patient, it'll be done, just
not really soon!

For all practical purposes, we need to advertise the site outside of this list
to spread the word when it's finished and vetted. Any ideas, anyone?

How many of those 300 members are "active". From what I observe, the regulars
here wouldn't be sufficient.

BTW, it wounds me that my little attempt didn't get much of a response [insert

quiet sobbing here]

Cheers!
