Hi,
I am a parent of a 15 year old son with CP. We have been going to
Poland for an intensive PT program. I wanted to get this information
out to as many interested parents and care givers I can find. Please
pass the information along if you know of anyone interested!!!
Thanks!

I am a parent of a child with cerebral palsy. My son has experienced
physical therapy, occupational therapy, hippo therapy, cranial sacral
therapy, aqua therapy, accupunture, massage therapy, and a home
program which consisting of 60 volunteers coming in and out of my
house every hour (just to name a few)!
Around the age of six his progressed slowed and he experienced
little improvement for many years. At the age of eleven I discovered
an intensive physical therapy program in Poland. After 28 days my
son showed the first signs of true balance and could weight exchange
from the left foot to the right. This may seem like small potatoes
to the average person but as you know dealing with individuals with
CP, this was a milestone!! We had been working on this goal for 5
years! Trip two Cody was taking his first steps, speech was
improved, and was showing new balance and coordination of his very
spastic body. Wow, the third trip was even better, my son gained
gross motor skills of his arms and I received my first hug! A child
whom has never used his arms before in his life, gained this ability
after trying all these other therapies.
As you know, each child and brain injury is different. I am not
saying this program will "fix" every child. I just want the
opportunity to give parents the knowledge such a program exists.
Euromed will be coming to Southern Florida to present a free
conference on their program. Everyone is welcome, PTs, OT's,
physicians, families, etc.!! Please call or email if you would like
additional flyers or if you can help me in any way.

Thank You,
Lynette LaScala (Cody's Mom)
