        First of all, where you been?? I have missed you from the list!!

Ah, well, Laura's done took the expected turn for the worse, so I've been
busy of late (remember that guy from the Ed Sullivan show who would run
around spinning plates on sticks?  That's been me for the last month or so).
We're pretty certain the cancer's metastasized to her breasts--mammogram's
scheduled for tomorrow.  It's really starting to get scary.

I sure came off sounding like a jerk this morning re: Jasper.  Sorry about
that, all.  The fingers were engaged before the brain.
