I get ssi, as well as SS  on account of my mom and dad, and I have both
medi-cal (medicaid) and medicare on account of my dad, plus I also have
PERS which is because my dad worked for the state of calif.  Sometimes it's
a headache, because the wheelchair shop has to bill medi-cal first, receive
a denial, and so on. and I still have not gotten a new manual chair, i am
using one that was my cousin's mother in law's. So Regional Center pays for
repairs on it, and new parts...  the power chair is covered by medicare, I
have dental under my dad's dental... No idea what it will do after he
dies...  So, it's a combination.
