In that case, they need to look at the wiring - they shouldn't be going out
like that.  If there is a short in the wiring, that could be dangerous.

ha, everytime my neighbor drops something heavy in her kitchen, the ligt
bulbs in my breakfast nook have to be changed! so I keepbuying bulbs. kind
of bad too, becaue they do contain mercury and need be disposed of
carefully.

Dang, I meant that the stores are not carrying the old incandescent bulbs--
of course they are carrying the florescent ones!

Here in my apartment building, we only use the energy saver bulbs, and my
electric bills have been very cheap compared to what they were in Virginia
