Mike and Ken,

I agree that it's every individual's responsibility to be involved in
politics; I have a real problem with religious organizations supplying
financial support to politicians, but I have similar problems with all
PAC contributions.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950

well, mike, we disagree. i think every citizen has a
right and responsibility to be involved in politics
and that includes the religious right and left. it is
a garrantee in our constitution. many of the prophets
were sent to anoint kings and warn kings (the politics
of the day) so i think it is quite biblical in
addition to constitutional. with appologies to the non
christians and non-jewish on the list.
