Hi Mike,

When I came over to the US I rented a car. The only problem was that I asked 
for a car with a "steering knob" ands got allocated a full hand control 
adapted car!! The hand controls were a complete nuisance (since I have better 
control in my feet rather than my hands, and the thing just got in the way. 
So make sure you specify exactly what you need. I wish I had.
