As background for my dissertation, I included part of Dr. Little's address to
the London Obstetrical Society in 1861(?). He gave a pretty accurate and
comprehensive description. In reference to intellect, he stated the cases he
studied ranged from genius down to "spastic drooling idiots". Texts in the US
later left out the genius part and accused Little of labeling all Cps as
"spastic drooling idiots"! Thank God Randolph AFB had a great medical history
library oor I would not have found Lintel's 1861 address.
